Title: honey uncapper knife.
Post by: beehappy1950 on April 18, 2013, 09:53:00 PM
I just acquired an uncapping knife. It gets hot enough to make water sizzle on it. Too hot, right? I noticed it has a small screw with a screwdriver slot in it is this where it can be set for the right temp. And how do I do it?

I think those knives are suppose to be preset.

I am beginning to think so. I wonder if they can be adjusted tho. This one gets really hot.

That little screw sets the temperature. Make very small adjustments till up get it where you want it.
If I remember right, clockwise makes it hotter.
