That is amazing. Way to go.
Nice picture,
Can I ask what your setup was? Including f stops?
Not sure to be honest, I used a Kodak z740, 5.0 mp.
Could have been on Auto . I don't know much about photography.
I get lucky once in awhile.
It is SPLENDED , 100 fold better than mine
Seems to be some server out of use on this globe.

I would love to know shutter speed, aperture, and ISO on that one. I know a little about a photography, but I couldn't get a picture like that! Once again, nice one 8) .
That's a way cool picture.

Newbee (Jeff) -
Got my calendar last week. It's already hanging up. That's a great one. Looking forward to July 2006!
where can i get this calander?
It is in the December issue of Bee Culture.
When I called Bee Culture and ABJ about where to buy one at a newsstand they both advised me they don't sell them that way and they sent me a free introductory issue. It was the current issue at that time. One thing that surprised me is that BC said they were considering or planning to sell at newsstands. I thought that was neat but I didn't ask if it was going to be wide spread or when or any of the REALLY important information.
I said that would be great for those that can't afford a subscription, but can afford the occasional issue that may have something of interest for that beekeeper.
Anyway if you aren't a subscriber, but may consider it, give them a call.
Congradualtions on getting your photo in! Just out of curiosity, did you "send" it in for the publishers to look at or did they take it at random...or do you know?
Congrats on a great photo!
Thanks for the comments! I submitted a few for a cover, but none ever made it. They told me they would consider one for the calendar.
I didn't know it was in there until I got my December issue in the mail.
Ocean > It is in the December issue of BEE CULTURE
Hey Newbee,
How did you get your bee to pose like that?
Seriously, what kind of camera and lens? Thanks
