i received my packages today and they had 6 inches of comb built in them so i put comb by entrance and it seems like they are eating it and taking it in hive is this right or am i just seeing things thanks

Bees will use existing wax and place it where they need it.

thanks i was just shocked to see that much comb in a package and instantly they started taking it in the hives
