Ever since my smoker came back to life in the back of my truck when I thought it was out, I now dump the contents into a bucket near my bee yard and douce with water , I use hickory / wood pellets and pine needles. I've noticed bees all over this substance in the bucket wet or dry, I wonder what they like about it? Charcoal? Burnt sap?
Minerals? Sodium Hydroxide?
