I have wonder about that some, well, not much.  I try to post a welcome to everyone's introduction.  I figure if you have to do a post at joining some should welcome you.   We all have our own ways of doing.  Good luck and posting to all.
Just got back from monthly local bee club meeting, someone there usually has a question about something that they may not get a good answer for I will tell the to check out Beemaster.com, some do give us a quick look, I keep telling them if you want to learn more join in.  You can find out a lots more here than at meetings.  A Fellow tonight asked if I had gone to Buds, I told him yes and learned a lot, you should have went.

if you're posting too much than i'm really overstepping.  this forum is full of people that are passionate about bees.  there are only so many of us in the world.  usually your "normal" friends don't get it.  i've been lucky this time round, i bought my land last fall and the guy that owns the land that's adjacent on two sides is trying to learn.  so i have somebody around that likes to talk bees and watch me go through my hives and ask questions.  he flips out because i don't really smoke my hives sometimes.  on top of that he's a retired fighter pilot so he's pretty interesting to talk to in general.
my point is that this is hear to post your thoughts and questions.  keep doing what your doing.  how far are you from butler?

Blue,
Not saying too much, just "knowing" too much!     ;)

Don,
As nice of a forum as Beemaster is, what really makes it successful in my opinion is the people who post here, and the frequency of which they do it.  I've been on other Internet forums, built around other topics, where you post a question and wait days for a single reply....Not a whole lot of fun there.

By definition, I think when someone post on a forum, they're seeking interaction, the more that offer it, the better.

There is also one absolute....No matter what you do on an Internet forum....Someone will have a problem with it.    Don't sweat it!  :-D

i'm trying to map the georgia people on here in my mind.  i think you and georgia boy are in the piedmont, i'm not usre where allenf is but i'm thinking north of atlanta, and asprince is just south of the fall line like me.  i'm sure there are some other georgia beekeepers on here that don't post as frequently.
