Title: Swarm season in Michigan
Post by: tefer2 on May 27, 2013, 10:43:34 AM
Well, it's finally started here in SW Michigan. I had 5 calls yesterday.
Managed to capture three of them with the other two in the air when I arrived.
One was at a trailer park with little kids playing on their bikes.
They were daring each other to ride through the cloud of bees. Fearless at that age!
Make sure you have a setup ready in your vehicle for free bees!  :bee:

I've caught 2 and lost 2 this season.  A couple were just too high to get the queen evidently.  It's a real bummer when you go to the work of trying to catch a swarm and fail.  :(
