Last year my bees put up a lot of honey as the poisen hemlock was blooming. I wasn't sure if it came from this plant or something else that was blooming at the same time.
The honey was nearly clear, quite thick with a very smoth taste.
Anybody have any expierence with this stuff?
I have a yard on a delta island -there is a huge amount of water hemlock -the bees dont touch it -I would
be surprised if it even gives up any pollen let alone nectar-at the same time the hemlock is in bloom there is
big flow from the dandy lion the plants are all huge because of the water source-the honey you describe
sounds to be of the same caliber from the dandelion--RDY-B
When I'm home I've been watching a big patch by my mailbox. I see lots of flies, small bees, and other insects but no honeybees.
