Title: Management of honey frames inside super
Post by: ThomasGR on June 11, 2013, 08:43:29 AM
Hello,
I have a honey super above excluder containing 7 frames of honey ( capped and fresh ). These frames are near the sides. Three frames in the middle are empty as brood became bees, few nectar placed there. I wonder if there is a "correct" placement of honey frames. Is it better to place almost filled - capped frames to the middle or at the sides or this do not make any difference.

* "correct" for better harvest

most of the time they will finish center frames first.  I rotate them to the out side after there capped.
