Title: Newbie Western Australia
Post by: Ozpedro on June 16, 2013, 01:02:08 AM
Hi all, hope I have done this correctly

I have read and watched literally hundreds of hours of you tube clips. I procrastinated last spring on setting up but relented in last few weeks but broke all the rules, secondhand hives, crap genetics etc. Absolutely feral, i ordered and paid for new queens but was then told no queens available I cant wait for spring to get new queens and some more nucs as I have brand new woodwork ready to go
Somewhere there is a saying along the line of someone having very good theoretical competence and practical competence  ;) Well I scored well on theory but having feral bees has certainly fastracked my practical competence!

Anyway great to have joined all the gurus here

Welcome to the forum, Ozpedro. I you have any question just post it.  There maybe a few gurus, and a lot of us just trying to learn more.  Good luck to you and your bees.
