Hi all,
Getting back into beekeeping; my Dad and I kept a few hives at his place up in Arkansas until they died out about 5 years ago  :( .  Well, he had a swarm show up in his yard about 6 weeks ago and grabbed it in an empty hive body (still had a little drawn comb) :).  Then a "bee tree" in the yard of the radio station where I work threw a swarm about a month ago; I called folks at the local Memphis Area Beekeepers Association, but they took off before anyone could get there.  One of those guys from Bartlett has a sideline taking bees out of people's houses; he said he's got more than he can handle, so he gives them away to beekeepers that have lost hives.  Since I still had all the equipment, he set me up with a couple colonies.  I live in Memphis, but these hives are going to my farm in Missouri, need some pollination for my fruit trees!
