Title: Greetings from Eastern KY!
Post by: Koopa on July 16, 2013, 02:52:55 PM
All of a sudden, I'm a beekeeper! I just moved on to a piece of land with an active hive. The bees were collected 2 years ago from a hollow tree in the area and left to fend for themselves. It seems they've done a fine job, but I'd like to help if they'll have me. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on, and I've posted questions in the General Beekeeping Forum. It's kind of tough to start when you're already started.

Koopa, lucky you!  Congrats on the hive.  Any idea what shape they're in?  Is there a local bee club in the area that you can solicit for help?

Welcome to the forum, Koopa.  You will find that beek is very addictive.  Good luck to you and your bees.
