( I'm in the northern suburbs of Sydney - Weathers been pretty hot last week or two )
I have a ( 2 super ) hive that was installed 26/10/2013
Things going nicely ( as far as I know that for my first year of bee-keeping ) .
During today's inspection I saw the queen on a frame from the top super and
also found just one capped Queen cell at the bottom on one of my frames in
the bottom super ....
There is plenty of room in the hive - 6 undrawn frames in the top super .
Capped and uncapped brood in both supers. Plenty of bee's but nothing like
the number I see on the videos in established hives - So i dont think of
it as crowded
I did not notice any Drone brood.
( I get my daughters to take photos of each frame so I can check things at my ( calm ) leisure
later.
Should I be nervous that they might swarm ?
Any thoughts most welcome.

One q cell is supercedure.
a dozen q cells is swarm.
Relax, they are either practicing, or don't like the queen and are replacing her.
