Both hives today they were happily clustered in the center with plenty of good honey to eat. so far so good:)

Good going AWW.  Did you get any honey this year, either way it will be the best ever.  Making it through the winter and getting your first honey you will be on top of the world.  Good luck to you and your bees.

Good for you! Just make sure that you've got plenty on top, they'll be starting to rear brood soon.

mes!  I did get to harvest some this fall..... liquid gold . I did not keep track of the harvest gave most of the away to my family and friends. and if held back to reserve for feeding in the spring. the honey stores in the hive look good for now. Will continue checking every two weeks as the weather allows.. I was really worried yesterday as I seen activity out of  one hive and nothing out of the other . but once I open the second hive (the non activite hive.2 of my ladies , came up to the top of the frames  . and I saw her happy cluster in the center.. =  whew  :)
