did a site search with no luck. what are the brands of light weight or vented bee suits?

I don't know that the vented suits are light if you are thinking they are. At least my vented golden bee suit isn't what I would consider light. It's a very nice vented suit that lets a breeze through, and it is as sting proof as you can find imho, and even with the weight, I do like it very much.
If you do find a light weight vented suit, let us know.

having no exposure to them I assumed vented meant light. I'm looking for something cool.
The normal sherriff suits are very cool, you cant compare them with ordinary cotton beesuits.

It gets pretty hot here in Central Arkansas in May and later.
What I use when working a lot of hives is a white shirt I bought at a thrift store for the mentally impaired folks.
It is a heavy dress shirt and I put a piece of Velcro on the collar to make sure it's closed.
I then use my veil, shirt, and gloves if necessary.
It is too hot for a suit, vented or not.
Sometimes I just wear a t-shirt and a veil.
I have suits but very, very seldom wear them.
Vented jacket is what I use in the summer. Breeze blows right through. All vented suites are good and worth it.

A round hooded vail is also a better option if your trying to keep cool , because your get ventilation on the back of your head and neck.

Now that's another very good point, and something to seriously consider.
I am a New Bee at this beekeeping hobby. I inherited an old apiary on my friend's farm. The supers etc are over ten yrs old. If we torch the hives and scrape and clean them will it be ok to use them or could there be a chance that diseases could still be intact?
We live in Ontario, Canada so they have been exposed to freezing temperatures as well.
Any advice will be appreciated.

It is better to scrape them first then torch.
Have there been out breaks of American foul brood in the area?
Freezing doesn't kill viruses, only bugs and insects

The Ultra Breeze is great I work my hives in shorts and no shirt it's a great suit plus I have the jacket just a great product .
Even my wife that is scared to death of bees hived a swarm why I was at work in my Ultra Breeze and stop a nuc yard rob out with putting sheets over them and never got stung now this year she's going to help me in the bee yards thank to Ultra Breeze she feels safe and there nice and cool.
