Title: Hello fron NW Montana
Post by: Edgy on February 15, 2014, 12:15:20 AM
I've decided to join after failing at beekeeping. I caught a swarm last June but was too ignorant to protect them from varroa mites. R.I.P. girls. I'm here to learn everything I can.  Wish I'd thought to look for a forum like this one last year! Edgy

Welcome to the forum Edgy, we all go through this at one time or another.
Just get yourself some more and start over.
It's part of becoming a beekeeper.

don't consider a loss, a failure.  we all lose hives.  learn what you can.  do the best you can.  learn to live with the losses.

Yep, don't worry about was has happened, just try not to do it again.  We can remember the lessons better after a lost.  And you will probably loose another as time goes on.  Good luck to you.
