Title: AHB locations and info
Post by: TwT on February 14, 2006, 05:22:49 AM
here's a map UGA put out in a publication jan.2006 with some good info, the map only shows established area's, not those of migrating beekeepers, if they showed a map of migrating beekeepers it could show most of the usa.

due west of my location and moving eastward. The map shows that.

That has also been confirmed by our state entomologist.

The whole idea of having to fool around with mean bees is depressing. I currently have one hive that has agressive bees and they are not pleasent to work with, at all. Personally I might just give up this beekeeping hobby after we have confirmation of the AHB in my area, which, I am sure, is bound to happen in the not too distant future.

So far the recommendations are to re-queen often.
