So I recently found three of my hives dead. I found and kept the queens. I was thinking of putting them into alcohol to make swarm lure.
In my reading I only see people talking about using young viable queens for this purpose. Can I use these frozen dead ones for this purpose as well?

Sure. They won't work as well as a live one, but they still have some queen smell on them.
