Title: Walk about my place in south Mississippi
Post by: Joe D on February 25, 2014, 07:33:44 PM
I went walking around my place today.  Saw Red Maple loaded with blooms, plum tree with a few open blooms, some Crabapple had a few open blooms, Huckleberry was starting to bloom and some of my white clover has bloomed.  There is lots of Henbit and other wild flowers.  My Laurel Cherries will bee blooming shortly, covered in buds, if the next freeze doesn't get them.  Supposed to be in the 20's Thursday morning.  probably others that I missed.  Bees are out working.

sounds like you're ahead of us.  plums just started opening today, hucleberries are getting close but clover is probably a few weeks out still.

Hey Rob, I looked at my plum trees today. I can see buds coming out pretty good. I figure at least another week before they bloom.
