Title: Guess Winter ain't over
Post by: capt44 on March 02, 2014, 10:36:49 PM
I am in central Arkansas zone 7.
This morning I got up it was 51 degrees F and the bees were working my open feeder in front of my wood shop.
By noon it was 36 degrees F and now it's 8:00PM and it's 22 degrees F and falling and suppose to have 4 inches of sleet and snow tonight.
The high Monday 18 degrees with wind chills -8 degrees F.
Now by Thursday back up in the mid to upper 50's.
Ya'll folks east of Arkansas better get ready to hunker down and hope the bees make it.
I put feed on mine a couple of days back but have not went deep into the hives.
