Anyone getting bees from Mann Lake in PA on April 5th?
or Brushy Mountains PA store in May?
I am scheduled to pick up some packages at Wilkes Barre on the 5th
I'm set to pickup 10 packages on the 5th of april from Mann Lake at the PA store. Looking forward to getting the girls and getting home to hive them. :)
I'm picking a package at Mann Lake on the 5th just to get a look at the new store. I have another on order from Brushy in May at the New Columbia store.

ggileau
did ya get those bees today?
I got there about 1 o'clock today. I picked up a couple pieces of woodware and a package. Met up with my sister, her husband and daughter that live near there. haven't seen them in a few years. So off to lunch with them and back home. Good day I'd say. :)
Pretty cold and windy today, so will install tomorrow. Not worried about the bees, just the beekeeper!! :-D :-D
I picked mine up around 9:00. It indeed was a bit chilly but it got up to 50 or so, so I installed them around 4:00. Mine were good looking packages compared to last years from GA, but it was a bad spring down there last year.
Spending time with family is priceless, glad it worked out for you. I wish I could have spent more time there hanging out, I always enjoy the people from PA and upstate NY, just down to earth.
I like the grocery store type layout for product. I would bet no more than five or ten dead bees total in the package. Very nice, and over half a can of syrup left.
:) Picked up my 10 packs today around 11am and it was pretty cool. Nice store with a little bit of everything. Can't wait to go back again..
Quite a drive drlonzo!

Ken you know it was a drive, but well worth it. All my girls are now home and in their new homes.
The bee packages were very good looking,Mine probably had less than 10 dead on the bottom and tolerated installation nicely.
Mine were awesome as for the package and the bees. Very few dead, however i waited to get mine hived and they were a little moody all day afterwords. However today they are very mild natured and adjusting very good.
When I got home it was blustery and cool. I wasn't worried too much about hiving the package as I was about the beekeeper getting cold. :-D :-D
Forecast for Sunday was sunny and 60 so they camped in the basement overnight.
