Why? My Daughter in law works at the Hosp. In Fairbanks. My son and 2 grandsons are arriving here tomorrow en route to AK. I may go visit this summer and thought I may see/visit some one who keeps bees. I can also go fishing and take care of my Gold Fever.  :roll:dd

I know this post is a little old but I finally made the move to Alaska. I will hold out and hunker down for the winter but this spring I would like to get back into having my own bees. I have read through a lot of the post about who does and who does not overwinter bees. I would like to try to overwinter them and have some ideas on doing so. If there are any other beeks in the Glennallen area let me know.
