Hi,

I'm a new beekeeper. We got 2 nucs a week and a half ago. I'm super excited about this new adventure. I've got so many questions, but I'm going to go read now and see what I can answer first. I look forward to being a part of this community.

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of knowledgable folks here, who are always eager to help a newbee.
Beekeeping is highly localized, so joining a local bee club and finding a mentor will help also.

With a name like yours, there is no need to post I in the Where did you get your name from. :-D

Thanks everyone for the welcome! We took two classes last fall to try to prep for this endeavor. There is a club meeting tomorrow night that I plan to attend.

We are in West Cobb County. Still Marietta technically.

i was just thinking today how few members there are from georgia when i know of several fairly local to me. welcome to beekeeping and the forum.

The middle ga.bee club meets down there in between Perry and there.
