Title: Hello new beek and new here
Post by: rookie2531 on April 27, 2014, 08:49:51 PM
Hello, I am new to bee keeping and just registered here. I have been reading many websites though for a couple months now and started with a one hive package a day before Easter. I live in eastern Kentucky and have a local supplier that is reasonably priced on everything I needed. He unfortunately was out of nucs by the time I found out about him as I would have started with it since they were priced right. I am not going to ask any questions here, save for the right forum. I have looked to see if the queen got out and she did  :). And the bees are still there working so I guess no absconding.

Welcome and it sounds like you are off to a good start.  No glass would have broken if you did ask a question out of place  Not too many brown shirts here.  So ask away in whatever partition and enjoy your bees.  If available I would find a local bee club and join.  A good support system there too.  Vance
