Title: Rearranging frames

After combining is it necessary to restructure the hives? What I nean is arrange the brood chamber down and the stored honey up.

Its up to you.. Give the bees a little help if your up to it. If your not, they will eventually get the newly combined hives restructured on their own.

I would let them straighten it out to their liking.  It will also stimulate laying and build up a younger population.

Thanks guys. I really didn't relish the idea of moving them around but was willing to if needed.
