Title: New Beekeepers Association (Chilton County, Alabama)
Post by: GSF on May 09, 2014, 10:52:22 PM
Last night was the first ever meeting of The Chilton County Beekeepers Association. With not a ton of advertisement, we met at the county extension office in Clanton. We wanted to get a feel to see if folks would be interested in starting a beekeepers association in that neck of the woods. We had 28 in attendance!!! The experience level was from no bees/no experience to folks who first started out burning burlap and fanning the smoke in the fifties. Everyone, regardless of experience level, is welcomed to attend.

The next meeting and every meeting there after will be the first Thursday of each month from 6 to 7 pm. If you're interested PM me, reply to this post, or try to get ahold of me anyway possible. We're excited.

find one of the beeks to video tape(cd-dvd) the meeting as we do down here
get a web page right away.

for the newbeeks  there are many fine vids you'll want to post. to help them out
a month is a long time to ask a question.
