My wife said " Yesterday I saw the biggest orientation flight Ive ever seen" "Look at the pictures"................... I said, "Wow". "Looks like a swarm to me". Rained 3 inches last night, figured they drowned. Walked the back loop anyway, got back to the house and there they were, 20' up in a Oak. Thought they may be angry after the storm last night. Just as docile as could be. Got em in a bucket, dumped em in the nuc and as of now they are still there. Hope they stay put. :-D

Nice swarm, good luck to you and your bees.
Joe
Sweet!
Nice and it looks like the queen is in there.

Thanks yall, and yes I believe she is in there. They were all in the box in minutes. I had to leave for a couple days and when i got home tonight they were still in there and happy as clams. Gonna move em to the farm in a couple days. Lucky so far, both swarms have stayed put. First one is booming honey and gave me a split. Getting lucky 2nd year. 1 hive to 7 so far, keeping fingers crossed...G... :chop:
Nice pictures! Good catch! ..Do you sit out on your porch much...? :-D

Actually I do........all the time, just not in the flight path. Which would have probably been impossible that day!!
