Hello,

I started out three years ago with one hive of the local apis mellifera iberica (like "killer bees" but without the sense of humour  ;)) on my land in the south of Catalonia. After the initial difficulties, I've expanded to six Langstroth hives. I've just started breeding queens this year.

I'd be interested in sharing views with other beekeepers on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, particularly those keeping iberian bees.
