Title: Tempature and Hive Inspections

At or 'round about what high temperature should you stay out of a hive, or how long should you be in there at that temperature?

Since it seldom gets above 90 here, there are very few days I would think I am hurting by inspecting when it is hot.  But our humidity is very low and that has got to hurt.  I think minimizing the time in the colony is the heart of the matter.  I don't think being in there ever does them any good unless you have a real reason to be there.  If you have  a reason, do it and get out.

What's your choices down there?  Hot and Hotter

I don't know that it matters too much.  When it gets real hot more of the bees are outside the hive bearding and that means less bees inside to deal with  :-D  That isn't all bad if you don't sweat to death in your bee suit.
