Title: Hello from Central Kansas

Hello,  I started feeding bees in my back yard last Fall while doing some research on how to become a BEEK.  Fascinating little creatures!  I now have two hives, one from an "unwanted" hive and the other from a cut out.  I have a great mentor who continues to be invaluable to my start up process.  Right now we are working on building numbers so they will be strong for the winter.  Not thinking honey for this year.  If all goes well I can see myself with 50 or so hives in the future.  Love forums like this!  Thank you to all that contribute!
