Title: Hello from NW Ohio
Post by: Hotburn76 on June 26, 2014, 09:47:13 AM
Hello everyone! Nice looking forum, I found the link for this in a YouTube video.  My wife and I switched over to clean eating last summer and as a result of that we no longer use refined sugars.  In doing that we started consuming about a gallon of honey a month.  With the cost of that adding up and the desire for a second business or hobby I started my investigation last summer.  After watching more YouTube videos then primetime TV and two books later I built two ten frame hives and bought two nucs from a local beekeeper. Things seem to be good and well underway, but I still feel like I have so much to learn and am nervous I might miss a obvious sign.  So hopefully I don't annoy anyone with a lot of basic questions in my first couple dozen post.

Welcome to the forum, Jason.  You can pick up a lot of bee knowledge here, it's where I got most of the little I know.  You may also want to find and join your local bee club.  Good luck

Joe

Welcome to the forum. We have had some great discussions here on subjects the OP thought were dumb questions. Remember we were in your shoes and we are passing it forward.
