Title: native blooms when and what?
Post by: rookie2531 on June 26, 2014, 03:25:21 PM
Does anybody know of a site that tells what major blooms there are for specific regions. I am new and don't know about what trees the bees like, let alone if they are in my area and when they bloom. I am not that interested in flowers that people might put out but more interested in what is out in the woods and wild.

i have been looking at that map, it is very nice, the one problem I see is that in the fall the goldenrod is usually massive around here, and that is not listed as a considerable source. Maybe it changes from year to year. Right now sumac is the same way and unlisted. Any Ideas why? G :chop:
