Title: Pale yellow honey nectar sources in upper midwest?
Post by: twb on August 02, 2014, 09:57:38 PM
We just harvested the lightest pale yellow colored honey we have ever had. It looks like water on my bread and when dripped on the counter. It tastes fabulous. It is mild and sweet with no "throat burn" kick. I would sure like to know where they found the nectar for it. My searches have come up blank. Any ideas?

Sounds like good honey but as thin as you make it sound, I recommend you test it for water content.
I always like honey straight out of the hive but often times it is way to thin to bottle. Mostly nectar.
