Title: Need to learn my trees.
Post by: rookie2531 on August 17, 2014, 09:19:49 PM
This past spring, I went in my section of land to cut some trees down as I want to plant fruit trees there in the future. My chainsaw quit working after about cutting ten or so down. I haven't got it running right yet. So I went for a walk down there and saw two small trees with white flowers on top. When I got closer, I saw and heard hundreds of girls all over it. I looked it up and seems to be called a bee-bee tree. Go figure, I'm not cutting those down or any others until I know what they are.

well if that's what it is, I would surely be leaving it too. It's pretty hard to beat a bloom like they can produce.

I'm not 100 certain, but after searching internet, it seems like it. The only thing was that I couldn't find a description about the tree trunk having thorns on them, but mine does have thorns.

Perhaps, its black locust? A very thorny tree. I would say it would be unusual to have a thorny trunk , but then again , maybe not.
