Title: Miller Feeder Finishing
Post by: Dozer on March 08, 2006, 07:17:50 PM
If you use the miller type feeder that rests on top of the hive with the reservoir for the syrup perhaps you can help me out. I've got some plans in hand, but was curious about the finish to apply given that this finish, if it does not hold the syrup, could spell death for the bees below. I've seen suggestions of 2 coats of verathane, others with wax, but I would like to hear from someone who has used a particular method that they know will work. The cheapest, most effective method will win out. Thanks in advance,
