Title: Mad Honey Article
Post by: sc-bee on September 05, 2014, 09:09:05 PM
Here is an article about the poisonous honey you sometimes hear folks refer too. The article was sent to me by a beek here in my state. He may be on beemaster but I can not remember his screen name: Thought it was cool they run the honey down and tasted it.

SC,
Thanks for posting that. I had heard several slightly different stories about this but that article put it all together.
Thanks again,
Jim

This was posted on beemaster FB. Must admit due to my download speed I have not watched it yet.

I really enjoyed that video. You have to give those bee hunters a lot of credit. Those bees are a lot more aggressive than our bees. I would like to have some of that honey.  :-D

No thank you. I'll pass on that honey. Beautiful story though. I would like to see more of those bees.

I saw it for sale in several spice stores in Istanbul and Efes as medicine for E.D.  It was in very small jars for very large prices...

Then I guess none of you have heard the story about the Soldiers during the Civil war who were affected by the honey they ate in the Smokey Mt region, where   rhododendron's are plentiful. D2

Don,
I did a lot of searching for information on this subject and did not find anything. Do you have a link to it or a little more information about it?
