So I have done a poor job of preparing my bees for winter. It is now mid October and the nights are getting down to the 60's with the day time temps in the 80's. If I feed the girls a gallon of syrup each week and pollen sub as needed would they still build up and produce more bees? Or would they simply just store the syrup and pollen sub?
I am in Texas and we will not truly get "cold" until the end of December normally.
If you still have pollen in your area, the bees will build up and continue to make new bees. -Mike
