I have a 5 gallon bucket 1/2 full with very hardened honey. What is the best way to liquify this?
If you don't want to invest in something like this (5 gal. pail heater):

then you can wrap a couple of heating pads around the bucket then wrap that with a couple of blankets (for insulation) and let the heating pads work their magic. Always be careful however, of leaving electrical appliances on and unoccupied!
set the bucket on a heating pad set on high and cover the bucket with a towel, it will take a little while but keep a eye on it, I never tried this with a bucket but it works on jars..
Put it in the bathtub and fill with as hot a water as you have. Add some pots of boiling water as it gets lukewarm. If you keep it hot it will liquify.
