Title: Greetings from Sydney Australia
Post by: JimW on November 15, 2014, 09:40:40 PM
G'day all,

I'm Jim and I'm from Sydney in Australia. I live in the suburbs and have a couple of hives.

Beekeeping is a new hobby for my family and I. We started from one package last year and have built up into one full hive and another new split which I just made this spring.

I've got three young kids (Girl 10, Girl 5, Boy 3) and a wife, so we are generally pretty busy. This has made it hard for me to go to my local association's meetings to ask questions. This means I'm usually referring to books (Guide to Backyard Beekeeping by Doug Purdie is a favourite) or the internet. I've found the advice on this forum fantastic so far.

Thanks for putting this forum together Beemaster!

Cheers
Jim
