Title: A litlle beekeper from Romania - BogdanU

Hello, my name is Bogdan, I am from south-est of Romania and I am the happy possesor of 18 colonies of honeybees. The model of box that I use is Dadant-Blat with frames 1/1 that meens 300cm/450cm!
Excuse my english please, I am not a good speaker!

Welcome.  There's been a few bee keepers on here from Romania. X:X 

It sounds like you're using larger frames in your hives that most of us.  My full sized hives are patterned off the Dadant Jumbo and hold up to 12 frames.  Each of my frames are 36cm deep.

It seems like you use the Layens frame, we have in Romania beekeper's who use that hives with 10 or 12 frames down and up of them they use a half of this kind of hive for honey.

I visited your country back in the late 90s. We took a bus from the port in southern Romania, on the Black Sea, to an airport and took a plane ride to northern Romania. We toured all over the area by bus, visiting  monastery's. Your country side was gorgeous. Loved every minute of it.
