Title: Honey Bee, DVD?
Post by: PhillyJoe on December 14, 2014, 06:28:47 PM

I just watched Vanishing of the Bee's. Great movie... Also watch Burt's Bee's...

Can anyone recommend any others or resources that I can watch online. (other than Youtube) I think I watched almost everything on there..

Could anything from Rearing Queens, etc.

Thank you.

It's not online, but I highly recommend "Sister Bee".

Here's a trailer:

And you can download it for $5 or buy the DVD.

Michael, have you considered making a set of informative DVD's? There is so much info out there that is available from inexperienced beekeepers that is inaccurate or misleading, I think a set of DVD's from someone with your experience and knowledge would be beneficial.

Sure.  Someday when I retire... and someone volunteers to shoot them and edit them... :)  I barely have time to do anything with the bees as it is and filming myself doing it would take three or four times as long...

I quite using eyelets and wire, only use 15 lb. fishing line now. Works good and is fast.
