Title: VARNISHED WOOD

i have access to a bunch of wood that has been varnished and was wondering if i could make nucs or swarm traps out of it   thanks

It will bee just fine. The varnish is old and fully dried so no problem.

I varnished my first two hives with no issues.

I'm glad you asked that.  Was thinking of staining a couple hives for the first time myself this year for something different.
