New to everything!  Starting with two hives/packages March 18th.  I would have formally joined the Northampton/Halifax County (NC) beekeepers group yesterday evening had we not locally experienced some arctic weather.  My first attendance was last month with 30+ in attendance.  I'm looking forward to what I can learn and what I can offer in return to the local community.  Wish me luck.

Good luck. See if your group has a mentoring program as the mentors can really help with local issues.  -Mike
