Title: Moving Brood
Post by: don2 on April 22, 2015, 05:34:03 PM
If I catch a warm day, above 70 degrees, if I wrap the frames in thick cloth would they cool too much moving them about 150 yards?  Got to see if my other two splits will make a Queen. d2

'Not likely they'd be overly cooled.  I imagine they will be just fine. If you have a makeshift nuc box (even cardboard) it would probably go easier on you.

I have several 4 and 5 frame  boxes. I have already tried the cloth in the inside with a couple empty frames. Using extra frames it snugs the 2 would be brood frames good. d2
