I joined a year ago, kept all of my forum info on a tablet that pooped out, so never came back. Well fellas, I'm back now!

I started out with one hive last year that never did well and died out over the winter. I will be picking up 3 packages of bees soon and am busy making their new homes all snug.

I am planning on using the high $ deep hive that I paid for and am making everything else medium 8's. I am also planning on no foundation in the frames, hope the bees think the idea is as nifty as I do. I will keep the plastic in the deep frame, just to see how it all works out and to compare.
