Title: straightening combs question
Post by: Maggiesdad on May 07, 2015, 10:37:19 PM
This is the #11 bar, and the first one to get out of alignment... Do I bend this back, or simply place it between straight combs deeper in the nest? 1-1/4" bars, and the flowers of of our main flow just opened two days ago.

I would put that between drawn comb if possible. It is a little off kilter but not too bad.

Thanks , OldMech. That's the route I took - I figured less heavy handed would be more, and they fixed it in 24 hours.
Can't really see it for the bees, but it's right on line now.
