Hello,
I will be relocating a hive from Atlanta, Georgia to Woodland Park, Colorado in the fall. The hive over wintered in Georgia very well and is about 50K strong. Any tips on how to help the hive during its transition to high altitude?
thanks!
Kim
There's a couple of Colorado beeks on here, if they don't see your post may pm them. I have no experience in what you're doing but I'd imagine the bees will take a hit this winter. Might want to re-queen with a local queen when you get there. Are you versed in transporting them?
