Title: new nuc question
Post by: Hi-Tech on May 29, 2015, 02:01:24 PM
I bought a nuc and its my first time dealing with a nuc (always been a package and swarm guy). I'm going to give them a day or so to get adjusted to the new area before I move them into the permanent hive. When I transfer the frames to the new hive body I will have 5 new frames and foundation to put in there with the 5 nuc frames. Should I put the nuc frames in the center and the new frames on the ends or mix up the new and nuc frames?

I have kept the brood together. If there is a frame of stores, they can be put on the outside.  -Mike
