would it bee ok to feed hummingbird nectar????insted of suger water? thanks
I have never heard of feeding bees that low a concentration. its typically 1:4 sugar to water.... much more watered down than most formulations I have seen mentioned for bees. I have however seen bees take it from a poorly manage Hummingbird feeder so it obviously isn't "bad" for them...but not sure if intentionally feeding it is a good idea.
Excellent typo!
Funnily enough my neighbours were saying that my bees were polishing off their hummingbird feeder. Lots of bees hovering around it all day. The funny part is that I am feeding a good percentage of the hives.
Waskly wabbit.
A little from feeders is OK. But unless you what red honey don't . beeks in France had a problem with a candy factory dumping left over candy syrup and the bees thinking free food. It ruined a whole harvest because it could not pass inspection. They had every color of the rainbow plus brown and black .

I guess the bees have shown me. I put one of each the bee are using the sugar and not touching the nectar.
Nice Buck. That doesn't look like a little Florida deer to me. G
