Title: My first honey.
Post by: flyboy on July 03, 2015, 11:46:10 AM
Last night I took off my first honey. I did two deeps and two honey supers. The honey is amazing. Nice flavour but no aftertaste. Maybe it was the pantyhose filter?.

My wife's allergies were not evident this AM. Usually that are quite a nuisance in the AM.

Just listened to a guy on a podcast (Thomas Ogren) talking about allergies and gardening. I highly recommend listening. This guy knows his stuff. I learned a lot regarding pollen etc, which is of course a big part of what we do. I like listening to Patrick Timpone's podcasts generally anyways.

Thanks. Sounds good. I'll listen. Congrats on your first honey. How much did you end up getting out of those?

I didn't weigh it but in one of those plastic buckets that are 10 inches square by 14 " high it was about 4" deep.
