This is the first time I have saw bees do this when it wasn't a swarm any ideas? I hope the queen is not in there

looks to me like your bees are getting some scruff. When you have enough bees they will start to get a full on beard. Your bees are just hot.

Here it seems like they start plastering the front before they start hanging down. But, bees will be bees. Would like to know what you found. G
